Biographical information
Linda Ullah,
M. Ed, is the Gifted and Talented Education (GATE) Resource
Teacher at Edenvale Elementary School (Oak Grove School
District, San Jose, CA,USA), as well as a Technology
Learning Coordinator for the Blossom Valley
Learning Consortium (BVLC) Challenge 2000, Federal Technology Grant. Her
students have participated in many creative Multimedia Makers projects,
including involvement in NASA/Passport to Knowledge "Live from Mars"
electronic field trips, NASA's new Mars Virtual Explorer (VE) multimedia
and curriculum project, and the current international
collaboration with students and teachers in Brazil.
Linda has presented her student projects at several conferences. She is
the co-author with Dr. Ted Kahn of an article
entitled : "Learning by Design" that appeared in MINDSHIFT CONNECTION.

Eduardo Ruiz Maldonado is a public
school physics teacher and computer
- projects coordinator the school Idalina Macedo Costa
Sodre, Sao Caetano
- do Sul, Sao Paulo, Brazil. Since 1993 Eduardo have
been working hard to
- maintain the projects with Internet and computer in
his school. He is a big dreamer . Actually, Eduardo intends develop interdisciplinary
and collaborative projects and to systematize the new methods of teaching
and learning.

Eliana Fredo da Costa
is an art teacher and together with Eduardo has
been working to integrate her students' art projects with
the Internet in a public school. Eliana believes that art is very important
to each students' development.

Tania Callegaro is a resource
art teacher that has a been working with Eduardo and Eliana since 1996.
She intends to connect art education and aesthetics
through telecommunications.

Vera Severiano is a history teacher
and ex-politician in our region, Sao Caetano do Sul.She has been taught
Sociology and Geography too since 1982. Vera works in this project because
she believes in public school and democratic learning.

Sonia Magan is an art teacher and graphic design artist. Since 1992 she is
a teacher in a public school. She is the most young teacher of the our
team.

Tania Maria Marconi
studied Chemistry at Universidade do Sagrado Coração
in Sao Paulo. She has been taught chemistry since in public school. She
has taken part in two projects: Biogas and Ecology of Water since 1996.
She likes helping her students in order to be besides teacher her friend
too.

Rosana Cecilia de Souza has taught English and Portuguese Languages since 1989 in public
schools. She studied languages at Instituto Metodista de Ensino Superior
and she finished her Graduated in Brazilian Literature at Faculdade Sao
Judas Tadeu two years ago. Both of them she have done in Sao Paulo. She
intend to take part in this project according with her possibility.

Patricia de Moraes Meira has been
teaching Biology since 1991 in public and private school. She studied Biology
at University of Sao Caetano do Sul. She participates in two projects:
Carnivorous plants, Frogs and Ecology of Water since 1995.

Eliana Rodrigues Bueno has been
teaching chemistry in Idalina School since 1994, and she has participated
since 1996 in the Ecology of Water project and Fruits project . To her
these projects are important to improve our curricular context.
Joao Carlos Dias is a Geography teacher that has much experience with teaching
but now is beginning to experience teaching with the new technologies.

Sandra Verroni is a Portuguese
language teacher since the middle of this year in our school. She is a
new colleague on our team. She is a student, too.
