Location: San Martin, California

Title: Inside Sales Representative

Objective:
Identify and make contact with potential customers while maintaining communication and product education with current customer base. Obtain new business, create lead generation campaigns and prospect in conjunction with our Outside Sales Team..

Position Description:
The Inside Sales Representative’s primary function is to assist the Outside Sales Team by generating opportunities and appointments through a high volume of outbound calls and emails to prospective customers, current customers and partners. Through highly focused and energetic efforts, the Inside Sales Representative will get the word out about SVI's products and services, helping to add to the company's competitive edge through increased visibility and market awareness.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Creative prospecting for new potential leads
• Search online for potential partner and customer leads
• Outbound telemarketing to end user prospects
• Telemarketing to potential partners
• Database mining for potential opportunities
• Lead validation, and appointment setting
• Email campaigns to generate more leads
• Work with partners to generate additional opportunities
• Call and update partners and customers on new promotions and opportunities
• Respond to requests from customers for information
• Remain knowledgeable and up-to-date on changes and developments in the IP Telephony arena.
• Maintain and help expand Customer Relationship Management tool

Required Skills and Experiences:

• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Proficient in typing
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products
• Sales and persuasion ability
• Must have prior cold calling experience
• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience is required
• Minimum one year experience in a sales or sales support role
