Cheery Holiday Greetings!

This is the inaugural listing for my new store, GIFTstravaganza. The idea for it was part of the inspiration for starting my store. It's turned out to take far longer to make the box than I anticipated (in fact it's not quite done yet, but I've got to get this listed!), so Christmas is getting near, but with Priority Mail it will get there no problem!

Have a look at the many, many photos. Isn't it all just the sweetest thing you've ever seen?! ;) This will be a wonderful treat for some lucky child. :D

Everything comes inside this specially-designed, handcrafted, totally unique, one-of-a-kind, so sweet, large dog box. This "dog" has lots of soft fur in several different fabrics. His sides are velvety; his top is a furry kind of fleece; his spots made of thick brown fleece; and his insides and bottom are a soft flannel sort of material. He's about 20 inches in diameter and 12 inches tall. On the sides, top and inside bottom he's got some padding under his "fur" to make him a bit squishy. His big floppy ears are fur with brown fleece underneath.

I'm not yet finished with the inside but will put up some photos of it tonight after it's finished! Also I think he'll have a ribbon around his neck, so I'll have some photos of that too! :D Oh and the unfinished hem you can see on the bottom of the lid will be finished!!

What's inside this dog box??

Five so very soft, sweet, adorable stuffed puppies, sitting on a handmade velvet cushion, snuggled together in a specially-decorated basket.
These very well-made, extra-soft doggies in five different breeds are all dressed up for the holidays with their own little hats and scarves!! They sleep on a little red and green velvet cushion inside their lovely basket bed. Their cushion is so soft and pretty and has shiny black buttons and a green and red ribbon trim around the sides. When they're not sleeping all snug in their basket, they love to be played with, petted, and generally loved and adored! ;)

The handles of their basket are wrapped in ribbon. Their basket is lined with doggie fabric and ribbon.

Gorgeous dog puzzle book.
This hard cover book features five beautiful dog puzzles plus tons of information to learn all about dogs! Lots of photos of different kinds of dogs. A real treasure.

Large wall calendar with adorable photos plus a little "pocket" calendar (also good for drawing, scribbling, writing notes and playing pretend) ;)

Dog-themed, hand-decorated, totally fun bulletin board with matching themed push pins.

Lovely tin with dog/Christmas theme--inside several kinds of doggie stickers, including fuzzy ones, plus a few "kisses", the chocolate kind and a couple of surprises! Too much fun! :D

It is my intention to wrap the book, calendars, ornaments, and bullentin board but not the dogs and their bed or the tin. All will, of course, be inside the large dog box! :)

The value of the non-handmade items alone is over $55, and that's not counting the fabrics and trims let alone the time, labor and care that's gone into the handmade items. I really hope this will go to a child who will get lots of enjoyment from it. I've filled it will lots of love and holiday cheer.

Since my store is just bare bones so far I need to put some details here... The basic premise of my store is gifts, generally gift baskets, boxes or bags, wrapped and/or otherwise attractively packaged, boxed up and packed, shipped to the recipient. A card can be included, either a custom card (made with Print Shop) and/or hand embellished or a printed card of your choice. Also the return address label on the box can display your name and address (your "name" can be "Grandma" or "Aunt Sue", etc. if you like). :) If there is some part of this (wrapping, card, shipping to recipient, address label) you don't want, you don't have to have it. Eventually there will be "add-ons" for gifts, but that's not up and running, plus I think this gift is pretty stuffed as it is (pun intended?)! ;) If there is anything you want added or done special, just let me know, and I'll do what I can. The child's name could be added to the top of the bulletin board if you are interested. Please ask any questions and made any requests. :)
