| Teaching
is very important to both Edie and Shirley. They teach beginning riders up to competitors in national and world competition |
Instructors are important, but the
other equally important half of the equation is the lesson horse!!!
At Edie Lehman Training Stables we use retired and semi-retired show horses
for lessons.
After the "Spring Fling" of babies and
Class A competition we are home for the summer!!! We will be doing several
schooling shows on Sundays (please call to confirm the schedule) otherwise
Edie is here and TEACHING LESSONS PLUS we have an expanded summer schedule of
lessons!!!
TRAIL LESSONS - We do short rides here,
longer rides involve hauling. Call Shirley for details.
| The Frank Family moved to Aptos at the end of the summer. They decided to retire JUSTINA STARLET, now 20, after an incredible show career. The printout of her show record is five pages long. JUSTINA is living here and enjoying her retirement time by teaching youngsters to ride. Imagine the thrill of learning to ride on a national champion!!! |

LOOKIN FOR TROUBL took time away from
lessons to go back to the show arena. In 2003 he went to shows with
Dorothy Brehm, and they had an awesome record in Hunter Pleasure. In 2004
he carried the flag for Edie at FUZZY WUZZY, then went to the Sport Horse
Regional Championship Show and won two TOP FIVE ribbons (Sport Horse Under
Saddle and In-Hand)!!! |

JERRICHO
and Audrey VanCamp went to the Diablo Arabian Horse Show this spring and
the two of them showed their class A form!!! In a classic display of
Arabian versatility, Audrey and JERRICHO competed successfully in Hunter
and Western Pleasure and Showmanship.

DUN WITH MEOH STYLE “Wings” is a World Champion Trail Horse (International Buckskin Horse Association). He is currently teaching young and old “how to deal with obstacles”. |
BROADWAY FAME aka “Broadway Joe” has an Arabian Horse Association computer printout show record that is three pages long. He was very successful in Halter, Western and Hunter Pleasure. |
CAJUNS LADY LUV has a phenomenal show
career that includes: halter, western and hunter pleasure, trail and
dressage. The most prestigious of her wins was the Arabian Snaffle Bit
Western Pleasure Futurity (in a hackamore) and that is the belt buckle
that Edie most frequently wears. LUV is also the dam of two lovely
filles, BOBBI SOX (sold) and JUNE BUG (for sale). |
