I repair, rebuild and manufacture standard and Custom Driveshafts for automobiles, trucks, jeeps, 4-WD's etc. It's somewhat repetitive but at the same time always interesting. Every one is a new project even though very similar to the last.
Other than the four terrific years I spent in the Navy, I think the most interesting work I've done was from 1960 to 1968 working for a large aircraft job-shop in Southern California, building large structural titanium parts for the SR-71 and other planes like the B-1 and B-70 bombers. The project was so secret that for a few years we didn't even have a clue as to what kind of a plane or whatever it was for.
I also made a trip recently to Rachel, Nevada, (the UFO Capitol of the World?) and met some very interesting friends. This is a brand new link to Area 51 which I'm sure you will find very enlightening.
Chuck Clark of Rachel has recently come out with The Area 51 & S-4 Handbook which you may find very interesting. I Hope to have more after I've completed some of the links I've already started. Enjoy.
