Jeanne and Tom are hot-air balloonists from Morgan Hill, CA. They can be seen sailing the skies in "Tranquility", a Head 88,000cu. ft balloon. This balloon has 9 glorious rainbow colors from yellow at the bottom of the balloon to black at the top.

Jeanne is an experienced, commercial balloon pilot. During her 30 years of ballooning she has served as president and as a board member for the Pacific Coast Aeronauts, a San Francisco Bay Area Balloon Club. She served as the Balloon Federation of American Western Regional Director - Oct 1999 through Oct 2002. Jeanne has trained many students and also organizes balloon rallies.

Tom has served as the PCA's President for 1997 and 1998, Chairman of the Board, 1999 thru 2001 and was Treasurer for 2 years. Tom received his commercial certificate in balloons July 1995. Tom's original aviation interest was skydiving with the US Navy Leap Frogs while serving 23 years in the Navy. After a few balloon drops, he became interested in flying balloons instead of jumping out of them. In fact, that's how Jeanne and Tom met at the Lake Powell Balloon Regatta. Cosmic Stairway was their wedding present to each other. Now they fly Tranquility since Cosmic Stairway and Alpenglow are now retired.

Watch for Jeanne and Tom flying at many events in California, Oregon, Washington and Nevada.

Both Cosmic Stairway, Alpenglow and Tranquility have performed in the The Dawn Patrol during the The Great Reno Balloon Race - Watch for them each year in Reno, NV the second weekend in September. The pair will also be flying Dawn Patrol in Coalinga (Central Calif. near I-5) the weekend before Thanksgiving each year in November.
