Jeanne and Tom

Jeanne and Tom are hot-air balloonists from Morgan Hill, CA. They can be seen sailing the skies in "Cosmic Stairway", a Firefly 8B balloon. It has a unique design of colors that 'stair-step' around the balloon, leading to the top - where there are planets, stars and a comet! Cosmic Stairway was their wedding present to each other.

Jeanne is an experienced, commercial pilot. She has served as president, served on the Board of Directors and is currently Newsletter Editor and Publisher for the Pacific Coast Aeronauts, a San Jose Balloon Club. www.pcaballoons.org Tom served as the PCA's President for 1997 and 1998. Jeanne has trained many students and also organizes balloon rallies. Tom received his commercial certificate in balloons July 1995. Tom's original aviation interest was skydiving with the US Navy Leap Frogs. After a few balloon drops, he became interested in flying balloons instead of jumping out of them. In fact, that's how Jeanne and Tom met at the Lake Powell Balloon Regatta.

Watch for Jeanne and Tom flying at many events in California, Oregon, Washington and Nevada. Alpenglow is a performer in the The Dawn Patrol at The Great Reno Balloon Race - held in Reno, NV September 9, 10, 11 2005. The pair will also be flying Dawn Patrol in Coalinga (Central Calif. near I5) November 18, 19, 20 2005.
