The Jason Project: Each year Dr. Robert Ballard (discoverer or the Titanic) leads an expedition to study some area of the earth. This year Jason X is going to the Amazon Rainforest. The scientists on the expeditions and the classrooms involved study the geology, geography, biology, and environmental issues of the place being studied. This is an EXCELLENT project to join. The application is online. In the spring classes are invited to PIN sites (NASA in Mountain View) to meet with Dr. Ballard and is research team via telepresence.
