Peer Reviews allow students to reflect on their projects and decide what they need to do to improve them. Take a look at the Walkaround checklist below. Student teams can use a similar checklist to assess their own projects.

This worksheet has been modified from one that was used by Gayle Britt (former Technology Learning Coordinator for the Challenge 2000 Multimedia Project) with her social studies class at Central Middle School in San Carlos, CA to help her students evaluate their own HyperStudio projects. After noticing that her students were having difficulty understanding if their projects met ãher expectationsä, Gayle worked with Karen Cole at the Institute for Research on Learning (IRL) to help her students self evaluate their projects in order to create better products. The title of this exercise came about because her students had kept asking her, "Is my project good?" Although this was created for a specific project with a specific group of students it can be adapted for use in any classroom.
