"I purchased a puppy from Golden Acres Ranch 3 yrs. ago and I'm totally delighted with our choice of puppy not to mention our choice of kennel. Golden Acres breeds beautiful dogs with great temperaments. I would recommend Golden Acres to anyone who was looking for a perfect companion dog."

"TO: Fellow Aussie Lovers SUBJECT: Letter of Recommendation Bev Rancatore has made our first Aussie “adoption” in April of this year a wonderful, memorable experience! We are so glad we found her and Golden Acres. She has always had time for us, both to visit her pups and to answer our questions. We are impressed with her breeding dogs, which are beautiful, happy, healthy and well behaved, and always available for us to see on our visits to Golden Acres. One can sense that Bev’s pups are raised with love and affection. We are impressed with her kennels and her care of the pups and felt very comfortable adopting “Neela.” We have been told both by trainers and other Aussie owners that our Neela is a “laid back” Aussie. As one well known trainer told us, “your breeder hit a home run with this one.” We have had people stop us while walking Neela to ask if we were going to breed her, because she is so beautiful. We had a family tell us that they have an Aussie at home, but nothing near the quality of the breed that Neela is. Probably the best recommendation we can give for Bev and her pups is that we are bringing home a second pup this month. Sincerely, Bruce and Dee Blake Cameron Park, CA "

"I am very happy with my Aussie, Colby. He has an awesome temperament and is really great with my kids (ages 3 & 5) and our other dog, a very spirited Jack Russell. He has had no health problems what so ever, was very quick to recover from his neutering and there is no evidence that his hips will have any problems. My mother was originally referred to Bev, she bought a dog, I went up with her and bought Colby, then 3 of my neighbors went up and bought Aussies from Bev. My mother just got her 2nd pup from Bev and she has been a wonderful addition to the family. All 6 dogs adapted to their families' lifestyles very well, but they are all given lots of love and attention. Bev is a great breeder and very fastidious about who gets her pups. I think if more breeders were like Bev, there would be a lot less dogs in animal shelters. I hope you find the perfect dog. I found the ASCA website helpful when I was researching the breed. "

" About Bev and Golden Acres and her dogs. I will begin by saying that every aspect of my dealing with Bev has been fabulous. I interviewed and met with about 5 breeders before  choosing Bev. I chose her because it was clear to me she loved her dogs, bred them with love and care, and wasn't focused on showing dogs. Many breeders look at the family pet as the rejected show dog. Bev sees the family pet as the purpose for her dogs. And it shows in how they're treated by her. I'm a guy who asks lots and lots of questions. I was raised with German Shepherds, but never had a dog on my own before. I wanted to make sure I was a good Dad and raised a good dog. So, not only did I talk with and meet with Beverly numerous times before I picked up my dog at 8 weeks, but I've talked to her regularly since. Many breeders feel their job is done when the dog leaves their care. Bev is always there to answer questions and wants to make sure that her dogs are happy and well raised. She's been incredibly helpful. She's the first person I talk to when I have a question about training or separation anxiety or good chew toys. As a breeder, as a dog lover and as a person, Bev is truly awesome. My dog, Darrow (the name I gave to my Aussie after battering around name choices for months) to show you what he looks like at different ages. He is laying at my feet, occasionally licking my leg, as I type. He's been a great dog. For you health question, I've had absolutely no problems. My vet says he's as healthy as any dog she's seen. He's gone for his regular check-ups, received all his shots and was neutered at 5 months. At this point, he's never even been sick and eaten every meal (not that getting my dog to eat is a problem). Darrow is rambunctious (never can have enough activity and energy), loves people (he gets too excited and still wants to jump up on them more than I'd like), is bright (he's gone to a number of training classes and picks up obedience well -- can't say he always behaves when he doesn't want to, but he certainly knows what he's supposed to do) and does his best to make sure no animal of any kind goes on or above (in regard to birds) our backyard. I love my baby. What more to say? My experience and contact with Bev and Golden Acres has been exceptional. I recommend her regularly to every person who sees and likes my dog and says they're interested in Aussies. I can't imagine a better, more caring, loving and knowledgeable breeder. I certainly will keep in touch with Bev and will get all future Aussies from her. Matthew Greenberg "
