SHOW RULES
Show will follow AHSA rules
Awards - Ribbons 1st place thru 5th place Feed, Bedding, Horse related items to 1st place
Management reserves the right to combine or cancel classes with fewer than 4 riders/horses. Ribbons only will be given to classes with 4 or less Riders/horses.
There will be a $20 charge for returned checks
Any humane training equipment allowed
Novice riders not to have won 3 blue ribbons in any show
Ponies are eligible to compete in all classes and do not have to be shown by a junior.
Riding apparel: ENGLISH- Riders may wear casual English attire. Must wear boots and helmets.
Riding apparel: WESTERN- Riders must wear boots, hat or HELMET, and long sleeve shirt Juniors are encouraged to wear helmets.
Stallions not to be handled by anyone under 18. NO EXCEPTIONS
Warm up in warm up arena only unless announced otherwise.
All dogs must be on leash.
All trailers must park in designated parking area only.
Lunch break at approximately noon to allow for Stallion and Sale Parades and watering of the arena
Reining classes will not start before 3PM
Reining will run in accordance with the NorCal Rule Book

Pre-Entry Information
PRE-ENTRY FORM will be available September 2006
Pre-entering the
Loomis Basin Horsemen's Association Year 2005 Benefit Schooling Horse Show is
easy. Please fill out ONE FORM FOR EACH RIDER. You may have multiple
horses on the form. When you arrive at the show, you will find a
window for Pre-Entries where you will sign your form, pick up your Gate Passes and Drop off you check. By sending this
form in advance you will be saving 45˘
per entry over the full cost of $4.95/class, plus you will not have to stand in
a long line to get registered. In addition, if you plan on riding in trail at
the Western show, you can select the best ride times ahead of those riders
registering at the show.
After you have filled out the form
: Copy the form and then either paste it into an e-mail to
LBHA or into a Word Document which you can then attach to
an e-mail and send to LBHA at lbha@vfr.net

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO SEND A CHECK , JUST THE NUMBER OF CLASSES YOU PLAN ON
ENTERING. You can leave an open check at the office when you pick up your
gate passes. Please submit one form for each RIDER. Again, that
rider may have multiple horses.
If you pre-enter, entries must be received by October 10, 2006
You do not need to send a check. Fill all the information in and the NUMBER of
classes you
would like to enter. We will use the Gate Pass system and do not need to
know tell us which classes you will be entering. When you enter a class, your
number will be on the gate pass so we will be able to tell who has ridden.
Show rules at end of class lists
The arena at the park is 120' by 225', sanded and is watered by an automated sprinkler system. There is plenty of parking for most shows. Bleachers and announcer booth available. Jumps, trail equipment and a sound system are available to rent.
The arena is located at the Loomis Basin Community Park and has a trail leading to Secret Ravine Creek.
If you or your organization would like to use the Loomis Basin Horsemen's Arena for an event, clinic, or training session you may request a permit from LBHA. Placer County requires insurance liability coverage of $1 million. There is a small usage and clean up fee for group use of the Arena. Call LBHA 916-652-5204, write us at LBHA P.O.
